The separation of PET and PVC flakes for plastics recycling is a critical step in ensuring the purity and quality of the recycled materials, as these two materials cannot be recycled together due to their different chemical properties. VPC NIR sorting technology is effective for this purpose because different materials have different spectral signatures in the NIR range, allowing accurate identification and separation.
