There are many kinds of aluminum alloy series, respectively 1 series to 7 series, the series is different, its model, use, performance, process will also be different, as shown below.

1.  1 series of the main models are: 1050, 1060, 1100, etc. These models contain the most aluminum, almost up to more than ninety-nine percent, but do not contain other technical elements, so the production is relatively single, the price is also more affordable, is the most widely used in industry.

2. The main models of the 2 series are 2024, 2A16, 2A02, etc. These models not only have high hardness, but also have high copper content, and are one of the aviation aluminum, which are rarely used in industry.

3. The main models of the 3 series are 3003, 3A21, etc. These models not only have excellent production process, but also have a lot of manganese elements, which are between 1.0 and 1.5, so they also have good rust prevention function.

4. The main models of the 4 series are 4A01, 4000, etc. These models contain high amount of silicon, which are between 4.5% and 6%, and are widely used as construction materials and welding materials, which not only have good corrosion resistance and heat resistance, but also have strong wear resistance and low melting point.

5. 5 series main models are 5052, 5005, 5083, 5A05, these models contain a high amount of magnesium, are between 3% to 5%, so it is also called magnesium aluminum alloy, it not only has a high elongation and tensile strength, and low density, and has a good degree of fatigue resistance, but can not do heat treatment to strengthen, is a more widely used in industry, an alloy aluminum plate.

6. 6 series main models are 6061, its main elements are magnesium and aluminum, the surface has been cold treated process, has good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, and also easy to coat, while processing is simple and convenient.

7. 7 series main model 7075, its main element is zinc, is one of the aviation aluminum, its surface can be heat-treated, not only has a strong hardness, and wear resistance is also good, and also has good weldability, but corrosion resistance is very poor, easy to rust.
