Product Description
400mW Split Rotary Stirling Engine Cryocooler Low Consumption
RS046H Cryo Cooler

The RS046H is a split version of the RS046 rotary Stirling cooler. Featuring the same compressor structure as the RS046, the split format RS046H offers an even more compact size. The cold finger in the RS046H dewar cooler maintains the same diameter as the RS046 cooler but with a shorter length. The split design between compressor and cold finger provides enhanced flexibility for specialized infrared system designs.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a cryocooler used for?

Cryocoolers are machines that maintain sensors at extremely low temperatures to enable thermal imaging during long-term missions. In many high-end applications, the sensors that capture images require these extremely low temperatures for optimal performance.

What are the main factors to measure the quality of a Cryocooler?

Long battery life and reliable operation are the primary factors in measuring cryocooler quality. Our cryocooler features a wide operating temperature range and excellent reliability, with MTTF (Mean Time to Failures) reaching 10,000 hours—meeting 24/7 continuous operation requirements.

What is MTTF?

MTTF (Mean Time to Failure) measures a component's reliability by indicating how long, on average, a part lasts before failure and replacement. Fundamentally, it indicates the quality of the components you're purchasing—longer-lasting parts provide greater value.
