Infrared radiation (IR) refers to energy with wavelengths starting at about 700nm and extending to about 1mm. All objects emit heat in the form of infrared radiation, which is invisible to the human eye since we can only see "visible light" within the electromagnetic spectrum.
The core component is the infrared thermal detector, which sensitively detects minute temperature differences in surrounding objects. It collects radiation information and outputs temperature data for imaging based on these temperature variations. Hotter objects produce more infrared radiation, which can be felt as heat when intensity is sufficiently high.
