MICO612 LWIR infrared module is one of the MICO series developed by SensorMicro. This uncooled infrared camera core with a resolution of 640×512 and pixel size of 12μm provides an ideal solution for security monitoring applications, offering high-quality thermal imaging capabilities even in complete darkness or adverse weather conditions.

The MICO612 ultra-compact infrared camera core integrates a 640×512 mainstream resolution infrared detector, multiple optical lens options, image processing board, and robust structural frame. It transmits analog or digital video to backend platforms for integration, meeting various customer needs with its larger array.

Uncooled infrared focal plane detector does not need an Integrated Dewar Cooler Assembly (IDCA) device and can work at room temperature. It has the advantages of fast start, low power consumption, small size, light weight, long life, low cost and so on. Although the sensitivity of uncooled infrared focal plane detector is not as good as that of cooled infrared detectors, after years of development, its cost performance has been obviously better than the cooled detector, which has a broader application prospect.
