The iTL612 PLUS infrared camera core is equipped with an ApexCore 640×512/12μm wafer-level detector. Engineered with an ultra-compact design, it features a cross-sectional footprint of just 17.3 × 17.3mm and a total weight of only 13.7g, redefining industry SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) standards.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between low light, active IR and thermal imaging?

Low light requires natural light and transforms weak natural light images into enhanced electronic images through image intensifiers.

Active IR actively emits infrared light and uses infrared beams reflected by the target, offering very poor concealment.

Thermal imaging doesn't require any light and is a passive infrared night vision technology that detects infrared radiation differences between targets and scenes or different parts of an object. It is not affected by changes in surrounding lighting conditions and operates effectively during night or in fog, rain, and other harsh environments.

Can you block thermal imaging?

In most cases, thermal imaging cannot be blocked. However, infrared rays cannot penetrate walls, and glass can block IR. To avoid detection, you can conceal yourself behind glass or walls to block thermal imaging.
