The RG FFP2 particulate filtering respirator provides at least 94 percent filtration efficiency against certain non-oil based particles. It is a comfortable, light-weight respirator mask with two straps and adjustable nosepiece for secure fit and seal.

The FFP2 is an equivalent face mask to the KN95. It is a EU standard mask, not the Chinese KN95 standard. There are a few standards which are equivalent to the US NIOSH N95 standard--the EN149 FFP2 (this mask) and GB2626 KN95 standard.

These FFP2 masks are EU standard masks tested against the EN149:2001+A1:2009 FFP2 NR standard that bears a valid and legitimate CE mark. It is not tested against the GB2626-2006 KN95 standard. An independent SGS accredited lab tested these FFP2 masks to have a filtration level of 98%+. The EN149:2001 tests involve using NaCl (salt) and paraffin oil for filtration tests, compared with just NaCl for the KN95 and N95 masks. The conditions in which an FFP2 mask are subjected to during testing are actually more stringent then a GB2626-2006 KN95 test.
