System Operation
Each lane features slightly inclined rails with nested wheeled carts that tilt gently toward the pick face. Pallets are loaded onto carts that carry them through the lanes using gravity-assisted movement.
Loading Process
When empty, carts nest at the lane front. The first pallet loads onto the top cart, with subsequent pallets pushing previous ones forward until the lane is filled. Each lane typically stores 2-6 pallets.
Unloading Process
Following LIFO principles, the last stored pallet is first removed. Gravity automatically slides remaining pallets forward to the pick face as each front pallet is retrieved.
