Facility Measurement
Identify the storage area in your facility and take precise measurements. Create a layout diagram showing dimensions, ceiling height, and positions of doors, walls, pillars, and other obstacles.
Pallet Specifications
Determine the size and weight of pallets to be used, including width, depth, height (load height plus pallet height), and accurate weight per pallet.
Beam Selection Criteria
Beam Width: Allow at least 10cm clearance between upright columns and pallets, and between adjacent pallets. For example: 10cm + 100cm + 10cm + 100cm + 10cm = 230cm for two 100cm pallets per bay.
Beam Capacity: Calculate based on pallet weight and number of pallets per level. For 1000kg pallets with two per level, beam capacity should be ≥2000kg.
Frame Depth Calculation
Proper storage requires approximately 8cm pallet overhang both front and back. For 120cm pallet depth: 120cm - 2*8cm = 104cm frame depth.
