Ferro Silicon is one of the iron silicon alloys made by electric furnace smelting ,and it' s raw material is coke, scrap steel, quartz (or silica ). Ferro silicon 70 used as an inoculant in the foundry industry,Ingestant is a kind of can promote graphitization, reduce the tendency of white mouth, improve the morphology and distribution of graphite, increase the number of eutectic group, refine the matrix structure, it has a good effect in a short time (about 5-8 minutes) after inoculation. It is mainly applicable to the general contingency or the late instantaneous inoculation of various situations.

1. Ferrosilicon is often used as deoxidizer in steel- making.
2. Ferrosilicon also can be used as alloy elements join agent, which is widely used in low alloy steel, non- ferrous metal, bearing steel, heat-resistant steels and electrician silicon-steel.
3. It can be used as a reductant in ferroalloy production and chemical industry.
4. In iron industry it can be used as inoculant and nodulizer.
