Ferro Sillicon Slag Description

Silicon Slag (Off grade silcion) is a kind of colloid polymer with high water content with yellow green appearance, strong adsorption and complicated structure. The main ingredients are silicate and water, it shows acidic after water immersion, PH < 1, the solid content at 20%.Silicon Slag(Off grade silcion) can not only be used for producing white carbon black, after processing but also be used as cement materials or making ordinary firebrick. Silicon slag can be recycled through recrystallization and purification again to realize silicon material use again make silicon slag fully used. The recycle value is relatively high.

1. Silicon content from 30~50% is used for silicon addition for iron making in the blast furnace and cupola, 50~70% is used for the deoxidization of steel making.

2. Silicon Slag can used as Silicon metal alternative.

3. We use silicon slag to produce silicon briquette which is far and wide market in domestic and international.

4. Silicon slag is a good substitute of FeSi in steel making, which has advantage in reducing the cost of production.
