Description

High alumina brick is a type of refractory brick that is commonly used in high-temperature kilns, furnaces, and other high-temperature applications. These bricks are made from high-purity alumina and are known for their excellent strength, thermal stability, and resistance to corrosion.

High alumina bricks are typically made from bauxite or other alumina-rich raw materials that are fired at high temperatures to create a dense, hard brick. They can withstand temperatures of up to 1800°C (3272°F) and are resistant to thermal shock, making them ideal for use in high-temperature kilns.

High alumina bricks are available in a range of grades, with alumina content ranging from 50% to 99%. The higher the alumina content, the better the bricks' resistance to high temperatures and chemical attack. High alumina bricks with an alumina content of 70% or higher are typically used in applications where temperatures exceed 1450°C (2642°F).
