Refractory mullite bricks are a type of high-temperature refractory brick made from mullite (3Al2O3·2SiO2), a mineral with a high melting point of 1840°C. These bricks are commonly used in high-temperature kilns and furnaces due to their excellent thermal shock resistance, high strength, and good chemical stability.

Mullite bricks are typically made by mixing high-purity alumina and silica powders in the correct proportions, then shaping the mixture into bricks and firing them at high temperatures to form the mullite crystals. The resulting bricks are very dense and have low porosity, which helps to prevent heat loss and ensure a long service life.
