Silicon Metal Description

Metallic silicon typically contains over 98% silicon, with traces of other elements such as iron, aluminum, calcium, and carbon.

- Metallic silicon is added to steel as an alloying agent to improve its strength, hardness, and resistance to corrosion. It acts as a deoxidizer, removing oxygen from the molten steel and enhancing its overall quality.
Packing & Delivery
Packing: 1T/1.25T bundles, wrapped (plastic film) and fastened with steel strips on wooden pallet.
