Silicon Metal Description

Silicon powder,it is silver gray or dark gray powder with metallic luster.With the characteristic of high melting point, good heat resistance, high resistivity and high antioxidant effect, it is the basic raw material to refractiry industry,such as refractory castables,stopper rod.

 Silicon Metal Application

1. Substitute for Aluminum oxide mud as refractory material.

2. Used as additive in producing amorphous and shaped refractory products, greatly improve the strength and high-temperature behavior.

3. Used as castables binder of teeming ladle.

4. As cohesive agent, binder, coagulant, additives of other refractory products.

Silicon Metal Specification

Silicon metal powder is made of Silicon lumps by crushing, seiving, washing process etc. We have different grades of Si content powder, and we have different Si powder crushing and sieving processes to adapt to different applications of silicon powder.
Normal size: 180 mesh -325 mesh, 200 mesh, 325 mesh, 800 mesh, etc.
