Description
Ferromolybdenum is mainly used to add molybdenum to steel during steelmaking. Mixed with other alloying elements, molybdenum is widely used in the manufacture of stainless steels, heat-resistant steels, acid-resistant steels and tool steels.
Molybdenum is also used to produce alloys with special physical properties. Adding molybdenum to cast iron improves strength and wear resistance.

Properties
