Description
Ferro Vanadium is an iron alloy obtained by reducing vanadium pentoxide with carbon in an electric furnace, or by reducing vanadium pentoxide with silicon in an electric furnace. It is widely used as an element additive in smelting vanadium alloy steel and alloy cast iron, as well as in manufacturing permanent magnets.

Application
Ferrovanadium is a good oxidizing agent and protects steel surfaces from oxidation and corrosion, thus extending their service life and saving maintenance costs. In areas where chemical reactions need to be accelerated, such as rocket propellant fuels, the addition of a certain amount of ferrovanadium can promote the speed and intensity of the chemical reaction, resulting in a more rapid and intense reaction.
