Ferro silicon Description
75 Ferrosilicon is widely used in steelmaking and casting. During the steelmaking process, steel needs to be oxygenated to achieve an ideal high-temperature environment. However, excessive oxygenation in the later period will often produce more oxides in the steel, affecting the quality of the steel. At the same time, ferrosilicon 75 can also effectively promote the fluidity of steel, increase the absorption rate, reduce production costs, and increase steel mill profits.
Ferrosilicon 75 can also be used as a replacement for inoculants in casting to enhance eutectic sphere formation and increase the number of eutectic spheres. Adding silicon 75 iron in the production of ductile iron can effectively prevent the formation of carbides in the iron and promote the precipitation and spheroidization of graphite. It can effectively improve the fluidity of molten iron, thereby preventing nozzle clogging and reducing the tendency of castings to become white.
