Polycrystalline silicon is a polycrystalline silicon material grown using vapor-phase mixing or other methods. Composed of many small single crystal particles, its crystal quality is slightly inferior to precision single crystal silicon, and it contains more grain boundary and intracrystalline impurities. Due to its low production cost, polycrystalline silicon is widely used in photovoltaics, semiconductors, solar photovoltaics, and other fields.
