99.9% pure metal magnesium ingot offering superior quality for industrial applications. Magnesium metal exhibits strong reducing properties, releasing hydrogen when reacting with hot water and producing brilliant white light when burned.
Chemical Properties
Magnesium demonstrates excellent resistance to fluoride, hydrofluoric acid, and chromic acid, while remaining unaffected by caustic alkali solutions. It readily dissolves in organic and inorganic acids, and can directly combine with nitrogen, sulfur, and halogens. The metal maintains stability when exposed to hydrocarbons, aldehydes, alcohols, phenols, amines, fats, and most pharmaceutical oils.
