 Ferro Silicon Aluminum Description

Ferro Silicon Aluminum Inoculant is a composite deoxidation agent, its density is greater than the density of pure aluminum, easy to enter the molten steel, less internal combustion.

In steelmaking process, the deoxidation effect is twice times of pure aluminum deoxidation effect, it is easy to rise on the surface of molten steel, reduce the inclusions of molten steel and improve the quality of molten steel.

Ferro Silicon Aluminum Feature

The recovery rate of ferro silicon aluminum alloy is high, mainly because the alloy has a large specific gravity, aluminum has a specific gravity of 2.7g/cm3, and ferro silicon aluminum(FeAl30Si20) has a specific gravity of 3.5-4.2g/cm3. The specific gravity of the steelmaking residue is generally 2.8-3.2g/cm3, so the ferro silicon aluminum alloy will sink below the scum after being added, which effectively controls the reaction of aluminum with air and oxygen in the slag.
