Silicon-aluminum-iron alloy is a deoxidizer used in steelmaking production. It improves the morphology of inclusions and reduces the content of gas elements in molten steel. It is a new effective technology to improve steel quality, reduce costs and save aluminum.Practice has proved that Silicon-aluminum-iron alloy not only meets the requirements for deoxidation of steelmaking, but also has the advantages of desulfurization, high specific gravity, and strong penetrating power.

1. Deoxidation with silicon-iron-aluminum alloy can form a product with a low melting point, which makes the inclusions easy to polymerize, floats easily. It improves the quality of steel. When separately use the aluminum and Silicon-aluminum-iron alloy to deoxidize, the total aluminum content of aluminum in the steel is higher than Silicon-aluminum-iron alloy, but the acid-soluble aluminum of Silicon-aluminum-iron alloy is higher than aluminum. This indicates that when ferrosilicon is used, the aluminum oxide inclusions decrease very much.
