Ferrosilicon Description

Ferro silicon is an atomized alloy,which is formed by combining iron and silicon with a silicon content range of 15% to 90%. Ferro silicon is a universal "heat blocker" used in the production of carbon and stainless steels.
It is mainly used in the manufacture of steel and cast iron and produce fine quality steel. Ferro Silicon is used to remove oxygen from steel for better quality and durability. Our clients also use Ferro Silicon to manufacture pre-alloys like Magnesium Ferro Silicon (FeSiMg). It is used to modify melted malleable iron.
