2. Siliocn slag is from 40% to 95%, and the rest are C, S, P, Al, SiO2, Fe, Ca etc.
3. Silicon slag is much cheaper than purity silicon metal, and has many industrial applications.

1. Silicon content from 30~50% is used for silicon addition for iron making in the blast furnace and cupola, 50~70% is used for the deoxidization of steel making.
