‍Ferrosilicon powder is mainly used in steelmaking, steel casting, casting and other smelting processes. The common size of ferro silicon powder is 0-3mm, commonly used as a deoxidizer or inoculant. In the steelmaking industry, ferrosilicon powder can release a lot of heat at high temperature, which is often used to improve the quality and recovery rate of steel ingots. The milled or atomized ferrosilicon powder can be used as a suspended phase in the mining processing industry, and can be used as a coating for welding rods, in the production of ferromolybdenum, ferrosilicon powder is also used to reduce oxides.
