Ferro Sillicon Slag Description

Ferrosilicon is an atomized alloy,which is formed by combining iron and silicon with a silicon content range of 15% to 90%.Ferro silicon is a universal “heat blocker” used in the production of carbon and stainless steels.

Ferro Silicon Slag is the remaining part after the production of ferrosilicon and other ferroalloy materials. It contains a certain proportion of silicon elements, which can significantly improve the strength, hardness and elasticity of steel, improve the permeability of steel, reduce the hysteresis loss of transformer steel.

1.Ferrosilicon slag can be used in the common casting of cast iron in slag smelting, etc. Ferrosilicon slag can improve the furnace temperature, increase the fluidity of molten iron, discharge slag effectively, increase the label, and improve the toughness and cutting ability of casting.
