Product Description The structure of optical cables is to insert single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers into a loose tube filled with waterproof compound made of high modulus plastic. The center of the cable core is a metal reinforcing member. For some optical cables with certain core numbers, a polyethylene pad layer is extruded outside the metal central reinforcing member. Loose tubes (and filling ropes) are twisted around the central reinforcing piece to form a compact and round cable core. The gaps inside the cable core are filled with water-blocking compound. A steel-polyethylene bonded inner sheath is extruded externally, and another layer of nylon outer sheath is extruded to form the cable.

 

Laying methods: Pipeline, non-self-supporting overhead, etc.

Application scope: It is suitable for long-distance communication and inter-office communication, etc., and is mostly used in forest areas and other regions that may be affected by rodent damage and termites.

 

Execution standard: YD/T 901-2018 Outdoor optical cable for stranded communication.

 

Product features:

① The reasonable design and precise control of the excess length of the optical fiber in the loose tube and the cabling method endow the optical cable with excellent mechanical and environmental performance;

② The outside of the reinforcing parts and the inside of the cable core are filled with water-blocking cable paste, ensuring the moisture-proof and water-blocking effects of the optical cable.

③ The optical cable has excellent flexibility and resistance to bending.

④ The steel tape longitudinally wrapped around the cable core makes the optical cable have a better moisture-proof effect and also has a certain compressive resistance capacity.

⑤ It adopts a nylon outer protective layer to provide additional protection, and at the same time has a certain degree of flexibility, as well as the functions of preventing rats and termites.
