Crimped screens are widely used in industries as screen deck for crusher screen, vibrating screen, quarrying screen, mining screen etc.
When choosing the material for manufacturing screen deck, these factors are very important to consider,such as corrosion, abrasion, heat, vibration and weight etc. We weave the screens in stainless steel or high tensile steel.
When manufacturing the crimped screen,two basic designs are produced to maximize your aggregate production. One is the square opening, the other is oblong-shaped openings. Square openings are the most commonly used opening shape in the aggregate industry. Oblong-shaped openings offer two distinct advantages: more open area and greater wear-life, depending on the specific screening application.
The combination of aperture sizes & wire diameters usually used determine to provide accurate, long-lasting screening. The thinner the wire diameter, the higher the open area and the potential screening capacity.
Wire Materials:
High tensile steel
Vibrating screens or quarrying screen exert a great strain on screens,the high tensile wire’s high elastic limit and great tensile strength prevent wire fractures even when the wires are worn.
Stainless steel
As the stainless steel is high abrasion resistance, resistance to chemical and atmospheric corrosion,mechanical strength unaffected by high heat,it is fit for the vibration screens.

Application:
