Welded wire mesh is a mesh material made by resistance welding low-carbon steel wire, stainless steel wire, or other metal wires to the intersections, and then undergoing anti-corrosion treatments such as hot-dip galvanizing, electro-galvanizing, and PVC coating. It is classified by shape into rolls (commonly 30m long) and sheets (2m x 3m); and by material into three main categories: hot-dip galvanized, stainless steel, and PVC coated.

Wire diameter: 2.0–6.0 mm (2.5–4.0 mm is commonly used in construction).
Mesh size: 5×5 cm, 10×10 cm, 15×15 cm, 20×20 cm, etc.
Width: 1.0–1.8 m (roll mesh); Length: 30 m/roll.
