Mild Steel Perforated Mesh Introduction:
Carbon steel is divided into high carbon steel, medium carbon steel and low-carbon steel according to different carbon content. The higher the carbon content, the higher the hardness and strength of carbon steel, while the lower the plasticity. Our carbon steel perforated screen has low price and high strength. It is widely used in construction and industry.
Carbon steel has two treatment types: hot rolling and cold rolling. Hot rolling is the first process of steel molding. Steel becomes hard and brittle after cold rolling. After degrease and annealing, the steel will recover its toughness.
Mild steel is not very corrosion resistant. Generally, we can provide galvanization, sprayed painting, PVC coating and other surface treatments to protect it from corrosion.
Material:
High carbon steel. 0.8% to 2.0% carbon content. It has high strength but poor toughness. We usually use it to make vibrating screen and mine sieving mesh.
Medium carbon steel. 0.3% to 0.8% carbon content. It is used to manufacture stainless steel.
Low carbon steel. 0.05% to 0.30% carbon content. It has the shortest tempering time. It is soft, stamping resistant with good ductility.
