27"*96" diamond galvanized flat rib expanded metal lath for interior and exterior stucco is manufactured by slitting and stretching galvanized steel to form small openings that allow the keying of plaster. Metal lath provides a lightweight and easily attachable base for plaster application.
Made from expanded steel, the lath is generally applied flat across the stud plane and attached with staples, nails or screws. The openings in the lath enable plaster to key around the metal to assure a secure bond and a flat, smooth surface for the plaster application.
