This expanded metal lath is widely used in plaster projects, providing an excellent plaster base. The permanent plate holds the plate approximately 1/4" away from solid surfaces to aid stucco adhesion, resulting in solid, flat plastering that resists cracking.

The Self-Furred Metal Lath is ideal for interior and exterior use over sheathing, masonry and other solid surfaces. The dimple self-furring plaster base features evenly spaced indentations that hold the metal lath ¼" away from the surface to be plastered.

27"×96" G60 standard diamond galvanized flat rib expanded metal lath is manufactured by slitting and stretching galvanized steel to form small openings that allow plaster keying. The openings enable plaster to securely bond around the metal, creating a flat, smooth plaster surface.
