Hongum provides die cut silicone gaskets in a wide variety of grades, thicknesses, and hardness. The standard thickness of silicone rubber ranges from .010″ to 1″ thick. Silicone rubbers hardness (durometer) typically spans from 30 to 80 durometer, Shore A. We inventory a full spectrum of colors including red/orange, black, gray, blue, white, and translucent. Silicone rubber gaskets are available with or without acrylic or high temperature pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing.

Molded Silicone Gaskets

Hongum provides molded silicone gaskets and seals. Our custom molding capabilities include Compression Molding, Transfer Molding, Rubber Injection Molding, and Silicone Liquid Injection Molding (LIM). We commonly mold products using silicone, fluorosilicone, and FDA (food grade) silicone compounds which are available in color options red/orange, black, gray, blue, white, and translucent with custom color compounding available upon request. Silicone rubber molding compounds durometer (hardness) typically ranges from 25 to 80 durometer, Shore A. Silicone rubber molding tolerances are compliant with rubber molding industry standard RMA A2 Precision tolerances.

Conductive Silicone Gaskets

Hongum provides precision die cut conductive silicone gaskets and seals. Conductive Silicone is a unique composite of high-quality silicone and conductive microscopic particles which are commonly used for electronic applications. These elastomers are filled with special conductive fillers such as; carbon, nickel, silicone plated glass, silver plated nickel, silver plated aluminum, silver plated copper, silver and reinforced silver plated copper to be either thermally or electrically conductive.
