Aluminum extrusions that are the aluminum (alloy) heated to plastic temperature (400℃~500℃) use the hydraulic extrusion machine to squeeze the aluminum ingot through the extrusion die that becomes the required profile as so called aluminum squeeze. The shape is based on the different mold. The advantage of this process is its flexibility to produce the multiple cross-sections such as T-slotted aluminum extrusion, U-slotted aluminum extrusion, I-slotted aluminum extrusion, L-slotted aluminum extrusion, round slotted aluminum extrusion, and square slotted aluminum extrusion etc. Another advantage of this approach is to shorten processing time compared to the other process when a large-scale production. Hence, the cost of overall processing can be significantly reduced.
