It is commonly known as the folding rope groove in China. Lebus claims that the diameter of the wire rope using the folding rope groove can be 100mm from 1mmDAO. The number of layers can reach 50 layers, the maximum diameter of the drum can reach 5m, the linear speed of the wire rope can be unlimited.
According to the existing data, the maximum diameter of the wire rope is 94RAM, used in Japan (sound Maru) ship's 500T crane, the nominal diameter of the drum is 2094mm, the drum flange spacing is 1953mm, a total of 7 layers of winding.
