Steel 2-1/2" Perforated Base Insulation Hangers Spindle Type
perforated base insulation hangers Used to support rigid board and batt type insulation on wall and ceiling applications. The insulation hangers incorporate a 12-gauge or 3mm spindle (nail) and a 2" x 2" square perforated base made of low carbon steel, galvanized coated. Perforated base Insulation Hangers are also great for installing fiberglass board panels onto ceilings. Simply glue/screw/nail the base of the insulation fasteners to the ceiling, pierce the fiberglass panel onto the pins (1 pin on each corner minimum) and push the washer onto the pin to hold the panel in place.

Description details of perforated base insulation hangers
Perforated base insulation hangers are used to attach insulation with the use of General Purpose Adhesive. It is specially formulated to bond to metal, masonry and other sound substrates. Surfaces must be clean and dry before adhesive is applied. After the hanger is installed, insulation is imapled over the spindle and secured with a self-locking washer.
