Quick details of Insulation Quilting Pins
Insulation quilting pins are stainless steel pins that help simplify the installation of insulation materials by
securing the insulation to duct work and other HVAC metals and housings. Quilting pins are made up of
a weld pin and a retaining head. They can also be used as a hookless lacing anchor to secure insulation
inside fabricated blankets. Insulation quilting pins come in standard sizes of 2-1/2” and 4-1/2”, but other
lengths are available upon request. They are typically made of mild steel and stainless steel in 12 and

Install of Insulation Quilting Pins
Recommended assembly method:
1.Work surfaces should be clean and dry, free of dust, grease, oil and any other loose matter.
2.Remove the protective release paper taking care not to touch the adhesive.
3.Place the hanger in the required position and press the base against the surface to be insulated
4.Insulation can be impaled immediately and firmly locked with fastening clips but maximum strength of
adherence is achieved after 24 hours
