Product Description:
S34700 is an austenitic stainless steel, also known as 347 stainless steel. It is a steel material in the AISI (American Iron and Steel Institute) standard. S34700 has excellent corrosion resistance and can maintain stable performance in high temperature environments, so it is widely used in the manufacture of high temperature equipment and chemical industry pipelines.
S34700 has better weldability and corrosion resistance at high temperatures, as well as better wear resistance and bending resistance due to the addition of Nb (niobium) element. S34700 has good mechanical properties and processability, and has important applications in many fields, such as aviation, aerospace, petrochemical industry, chemical engineering, medical equipment, etc.
Heat Treatment: All austenitic stainless steels shall be carbide solution treated (special requirements for each grade). Class 1 (Level 1) can be applied to rods, wires and finished fasteners. Class 1 (Grade 1) - Rolled, forged or upset bars, whether hot or cold, bolt material shall be heated from room temperature and maintained at a temperature sufficient to allow chromium carbide to enter the melt. time and then cool at a rate sufficient to prevent carbide precipitation.
