321/321H Stainless Steel Plate 4x8 Ft 2500mm - Austenitic Grade with Titanium Stabilization for High Temperature Applications
Alloy 321 (UNS S32100) is a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel offering excellent general corrosion resistance. This grade provides superior resistance to intergranular corrosion after exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range of 800-1500°F (427-816°C). The alloy maintains oxidation resistance up to 1500°F (816°C) and delivers enhanced creep and stress rupture properties compared to 304 and 304L alloys, while also providing good low-temperature toughness.
Alloy 321H (UNS S32109) features higher carbon content (0.04-0.10) for improved creep resistance and higher strength at temperatures above 1000°F (537°C). The carbon content in plate form typically enables dual certification.
