Overview of galvanized and hot-dip galvanized pipes
Galvanized steel pipe, commonly known as cold galvanized pipe, is galvanized only on the surface of the steel pipe, and the inner cavity of the steel pipe is not galvanized.
Hot-dip galvanized steel pipes are generally made of hot-dip galvanized processing technology, and the inner and surface of the steel pipes are covered with zinc layers.
The difference between galvanized pipe and hot-dip galvanized pipe:
1. The processing technology is different, one is organic chemical solution, the other is physical solution; the hot-dip galvanized galvanized layer is firm and not easy to fall off.
2. The hot-dip galvanized coating is thick, so the anti-corrosion ability is strong. The galvanized (electroplating process) coating is well-proportioned and the process performance is good. The thickness of the coating is generally between 1 μm and more than ten μm.
3. Hot-dip galvanizing is an organic chemical solution, which belongs to electrochemical corrosion. Galvanizing is a physical solution. Just brush a layer of zinc on the surface, and there is no galvanized inside at all, so the zinc layer is easy to fall off. Hot-dip galvanizing is used in the construction of construction projects.
4. The hot-dip galvanized steel pipe is made by reflecting the molten metal material and the iron base material to form an aluminum alloy layer, and then the base material and the coating layer are closely combined.
