Austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel, also known as SA240/SA240M 310 in ASME standards, 1.4845(X8CrNi25-21) in Europe, AS 310S in Australia, and A240 310S in ASTM standards, is an equivalent material that offers good resistance to oxidation and corrosion. Its high percentage of chromium and nickel also gives it better creep strength and the ability to function at high temperatures.
