Austenitic in nature, 304 is primarily composed of nickel and chromium. It is designed with high erosion and oxidation resistance parcels, which also have excellent conformation and welding parcels. 304 pipe is used for high-pressure and high-temperature operations due to its strength and high operating temperature of 870 degrees Celsius.
