550 is a wear-resistant steel plate with an average hardness of 550HBW. Its toughness is the same as 500, which is used in high wear applications. Its main purpose is to use high manganese steel castings or brinell hardness of 500 wear plate users and manufacturers. When upgraded from 500 steel plates to this product, the brinell hardness is increased by 50 units, extending wear life without compromising the toughness of the steel plates. 600 is the hardest wear-resistant steel plate in the world with a hardness of 600HBW. It is generally used for extremely severe wear and is mainly used in place of cast steel, chrome cast iron and surface hardened metals. Despite its high hardness, we can machine, weld and cut it. Although the 600 is very hard, it still has quite high impact toughness.
