Thanks to the high melting point, high density (above 18.8g/cm3), high purity (above 99.95%) characteristics, tungsten rod is widly applied in making crucible for sapphire growth furnace, electrode for rare earth high-temperature furnace, heating parts for high temperature furnance, connecting parts and supporting stick.

According to the diamter, we have different production way for tungsten bar.

Small diameter like Ø5mm produced by swaging/spining,

if the diameter is up to 15mm, we will forge the rod after sintering, it will have high density.

When the diameter is as big as 150mm, we can only sinter it because of the big dimension. Density would be above 18.5g/cm3

All tungsten rod surface could be black, lathe-polishing and grinding according to customer’s requirments.

Tungsten rods are mainly used as heater, support pillar, feeder and fastener in vacuum or reducing atmosphere high temperature furnace. Also as light source in lighting industry, electrode in glass melting, and welding equipments.

• Packing & shipping for tungsten rod bar:

To ensure the safety during transportation, products will be packed accordingly with exportable wooden box with foam sheet protection inside.

If customer has special packing requirments, we will try to meet them.

Considering for the shipment, we suggest the length within 2m if it didn't affect the usage of the tungsten rod.

Note: When you received the products, open the package carefully, some parts are sharp and heavy, please protect yourself. And if there is any damage, remember to contact with us in time, we will solve the problem soon for you.
