The panels can be used for climate-controlled premises or conditioned sites, both for positive or negative temperatures. This kind of panel is available in smooth, striated, or micro-striated finish.

PIR components present an excellent insulation performance, they are highly effective and lightweight. They offer excellent thermal conductivity, and high resistance to weight, combined with the versatility of production.

They are closed-cell insulation, which is injected between metal plates sealed during the production process. The result is a self-supporting panel, which insulation capacity barely changes over time.

The conditions for use are in accordance with existing regulations, and in particular are ready for application of the EN 14509 standard, relating to technical and mechanical resistance. The normal temperature range varies from -40ºC to +40ºC.

Each panel is 'foamed in place' with self-extinguishing, CFC-free polyurethane using high-pressure injection technology. This is to give a product of very low thermal conductivity of 0.020 W/m.K with high mechanical strength at low density (45kg/m3) and 95% closed cell content. Thickness is available from 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, and 120mm to 150mm for various temperatures, structures, and applications.
