Product Description

Silicone-coated fiberglass cloth is made of alkali-free and alkali-free glass fiber yarn coated with 40g/m2 black silica gel on one side. The filament diameter of the glass yarn woven into the base fabric is 9 µm. This rubber-coated fiberglass fabric is flexible, tear-resistant, and thermally insulating. Coated glass fiber cloth combines the high strength of glass fiber cloth with the wear resistance of silicone coating so that the silicone coated glass fiber cloth has the advantages of dimensional stability, high strength, electrical insulation, and chemical insulation.

The base fabric 3732 can withstand high temperatures below 550℃. And the silicone coating can withstand below 260 degrees Celsius. And based on the characteristics of the silicone coating and the base glass fiber cloth, this silicone-coated fiberglass cloth is mainly used for thermal insulation and electrical insulation. It can be used to produce heat-insulating exhaust jackets for fire-fighting equipment such as fire blankets/curtains, heat-insulating gloves, fabric air duct connectors, expansion joints, pumps/generators, etc.
