Product Description
This product is a strong and durable textile. The special silicone rubber coating extends the life of the fabric and provides superior water, oil, and heat resistance. This material is water-resistant, flexible even in low temperatures, and resistant to chemicals, oil, and UV. It is engineered to have superior insulation for industrial uses of high heat and electricity. This material comes in grey or red and is 17 ounces per square yard. Perfect for welding blankets, heat shields, welding curtains, and most other uses for high-temperature applications.
Notice: Although the base fabric is rated 1,000° F at continuous operating temperature, the silicone coating is rated 500°F on a continuous basis.

Properties
Silicone-coated fiberglass fabrics are made of fiberglass cloth and coated with a specially bonded silicone rubber on one or both sides. Physiologically inert silicone rubber, not only increases strength, but also increases thermal insulation properties, fire resistance, ozone resistance, and protection against oxygen aging, weathering, and the effects of oil.

Electric insulation: Silicon-coated fiberglass fabric features a high grade of electric insulation and bears a high voltage load due to the E-glass Fiberglass cloth. It fits for making products like insulation cloth and sleeves etc.
Non-metallic compensator: silicone fiberglass fabric could be used as pipeline flexible coupling, non-metallic compensator helps to avoid damage caused by heat expansion and cold contraction. This membrane material is specially fit for use in industries of petroleum, chemical engineering, cement, iron and steel, and energy sources due to its special features of temperature resistance, anti-corrosion, anti-aging, and good elasticity and toughness.
Anti-corrosion sector: silicone fiberglass fabric is good to be used as an inner and outer anti-corrosion layer featuring excellent corrosion resistance, temperature resistance, and high strength. It proves to be an ideal anti-corrosion material.
