▌Product description
The Fiber Optic Patch Cord is a length of fiber cable with connectors fixed on two ends to realize the optical path active connection. The Pigtail is a length fiber cable with only one connector fixed on one end. If both sides of the connector or its end-face are different, we call it hybrid patch cord. According to the transmission medium, it divides to Single Mode and Multi Mode Fiber Optic Patch Cord; According to the connector structure type, it divides FC, SC, ST, MU, D4, E2000, LC etc.; According to the polished ceramic end-face, it divides to PC, UPC and APC
▌Feature
- FC type fiber optic armored patch cord: The external reinforcement method is a metal sleeve, and the fastening method is a turnbuckle. Generally used on the ODF side (the most used on the patch panel)
- SC type fiber patch cords: The connector that connects the GBIC optical module. Its outer casing is rectangular, and the fastening method is plug-and-pull type without rotating. (most used on router switches)
- ST type patch cord fiber optic: commonly used in fiber distribution frame, the outer casing is round and the fastening method is screw buckle. (For 10Base-F connections, the connector is usually ST type. Commonly used for fiber distribution frames)
- LC 9/125 2.0mm fiber patch cord: A connector that connects to an SFP module. Patch cord fiber LC-LC duplex is made with a convenient modular jack (RJ) latch mechanism. (used by routers)
