Product Description

C45 steel is a non-alloy medium carbon engineering steel with 0.42%-0.5% carbon. It has moderate tensile strength, wear resistance and good machinability. The material can be hardened by quenching and tempering on a limited cross section or by flame or induction hardening to a surface hardness of Min 55 hrc. C45 is usually supplied in an untreated or normalized state. This product is widely used in many industries with higher requirements for strength, hardness and wear resistance. Used in tools, shafts, nuts, bolts, connecting rods, screws, rollers, shafts, spindles, studs, cutting tools and many automotive and general engineering components.
