Qualitative Diagnostic Kit for Human MTHFR Gene Polymorphism (PCR Fluorescence Probe)
Intended Use:
This kit is used for qualitative detection of the MTHFR (5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase) gene C677T polymorphism in the genomic DNA of human oral swab samples, and the oral swab samples can be directly used for detection without nucleic acid extraction. MTHFR C677T mutation can result in a decrease in heat resistance and enzymatic activity. It leads to folic acid metabolism disorders, which greatly increases the risk of fetal neural tube defects in the fifirst trimester. The test results of this kit provide auxiliary diagnosis for high-risk groups with low activity of MTHFR.
